Terms of service

The agreement for using CityCrew and booking an event.

Bookings and payment

A completed Stripe checkout reserves the number of spots shown in your confirmation. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars before payment. You authorize the displayed charge and agree to the event details, these terms, the refund policy, and the participant waiver in effect when you book.

Event inventory is limited. A page view or unfinished checkout does not hold a spot. We may reject or reverse a purchase affected by an obvious pricing error, fraud, duplicate processing, or unavailable inventory, and will return the affected payment.

Accounts and membership

You are responsible for accurate account information and reasonable protection of your login. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. The founding-membership form is an interest list only: joining it creates no paid subscription and no charge. If paid membership opens, its price, renewal interval, benefits, cancellation method, and effective terms will be shown before you consent.

Cancellations and changes

Customer cancellations, transfers, no-shows, and CityCrew cancellations are handled under our refund and cancellation policy. Event times, venues, routes, and hosts can change for safety or operational reasons. We will use the contact details on the booking to communicate material changes.

Participation and conduct

Follow host and venue instructions, participate within your abilities, and treat others respectfully. Harassment, dangerous conduct, intoxication that creates risk, property damage, or illegal activity may result in removal without a refund. Participation is voluntary and subject to the participant waiver.

Website use

Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with checkout, scrape personal information, or use CityCrew names and content in a way that suggests endorsement. Site content is provided for general information and may change.

Liability and governing law

To the extent permitted by law, CityCrew is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, third-party venues or services, personal property, or risks inherent in voluntary activities. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada.
