Who is responsible

CityCrew operates this website and is responsible for the personal information described here. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to info@citycrew.ca.

Information we collect

We collect the details you provide when creating an account, booking an event, requesting a corporate quote, or contacting us. This can include your name, email, phone number, company, event history, purchase amount, marketing choice, and the message you send. Payment card details are collected by Stripe and are not stored by CityCrew.

Our hosting and analytics systems also receive basic technical information such as pages viewed, device or browser type, approximate location, referrer, and performance measurements. We do not send form contents, names, emails, or phone numbers to analytics.

How we use it

We use information to create and secure accounts; process bookings; send confirmations and service messages; operate events safely; answer requests; prevent fraud and abuse; understand site performance; maintain business records; and send marketing only when you have opted in.

Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers to run the site: Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting and cookie-free analytics, Neon-compatible Postgres hosting for records, Resend for transactional email, and Google when you choose Google sign-in. They process information under their own terms and may process it outside Canada. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or prevent fraud, or as part of a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and protection

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute records. We use access controls, encrypted connections, signed session cookies, and payment providers designed to reduce risk. No online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing using the link in an email. You may ask to access or correct your information, withdraw consent where applicable, or request deletion, subject to records we must retain. Email info@citycrew.ca; we may need to verify your identity.

CityCrew is intended for adults participating in local events and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us.
